Other Actions for a Fall Candida Cleanse
Fall is also a great time to institute some new healthy habits for overall good health!
- Add regular exercise. Walking is a great start for an aerobic boost, along with moderate weight-lifting (small dumb bells) and stretching or yoga.
- Tune up your lymph system. The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that help rid the body of toxins, waste and other unwanted materials. Its primary function is to transport lymph, a fluid containing infection-fighting white blood cells, throughout the body, which make it an essential part of your immune system. Boost it with yoga, jumping on a trampoline, or “dry-brushing”.
- Make sure you get plenty of sleep. Most adults need 7 to 9 hours a night to be fully rested.
- Clean up your diet. I find two really simple adjustments make a world of difference: 1) cut out (at least most) sugar, and 2) eat more vegetables.
